BREATH OF LIFE - Goodbye (Proud World) [E.P.]
LABEL: Progressive Arts Music (2001)
BREATH OF LIFE was a short-lived New Jersey based Death/Doom Metal project formed in 1994 by former Hostility and Pale Horse vocalist Richard Olson and former Deadly Blessing guitarist Jim Alessi.
"Goodbye (Proud World)" was originally recorded as a demo in 1994 and later picked up to be issued that year as a limited run cassette e.p. on the defunct A.R.T. Records label. That release never happened and the recording fell into obscurity. In 2001 it was finally issued by the Progressive Arts Music label (a subsidiary of the defunct Conquest Music Group). Though originally intended to be a limited edition release of 2,000 units, only 500 were actually pressed.
