DEGRADATION formed in 1992 in Tampa, FL playing a form of technical Thrash that set themselves apart from the myriad of Death Metal bands within the scene. In 1993 the band would record and release their first demo to the public titled "Look Into the Sadness", selling over 2,500 copies and garnering the band rave reviews in 'zines around the world.
In 1994 the band issued their second indie release "Revelation in Blood", recorded at Morrisound Studios with Tom and Jim Morris at the helm. Stylistically, "Revelation in Blood" displays a sound akin to bands such as Forced Entry, Demolition Hammer and latter-day Sadus, Shortly after this release, the band would call it a day, with founding guitarist Dana Walsh moving on to join Tampa Death Metal stalwarts Brutality.
This 2017 reissue combines both the 1993 and 1994 recordings into one awesome collection complete with a 24 page booklet, updated cover art, and a retrospective interview with Dana Walsh.
