Divine Treachery are a five piece from Greensboro, NC who caught our attention in 2018 at a small festival showcase called Starkfest that was held in Greenville, SC a few months prior to our move back to Florida. The music of Divine Treachery blends the classic thrashy Florida Death Metal sound (Malevolent Creation, Solstice, Monstrosity, Brutality) with the more brutal side of straight forward Thrash (Demolition Hammer, Epidemic, False Prophet, The Haunted). Here the band has self released their debut album and it fully lives up to expectations set by their demos and live performances. Production is razor sharp and the packaging top notch (8 page full color booklet). This is truly a "hand-picked" release that we ourselves wished we could have done. Highly Recommended.
