This collection of early material from New Jersey-based Death Metal gem SAPREMIA will be officially reissued by Awakening Records!

Titled "Subconscious Existence", the compilation features 10 killer tracks written by the band in the 90's, re-mastered by Brian Valenti at BV Studios in 2006, and self-released on a handful of CDs by the band. Now with amazing artwork by Kelly Mantz (a.k.a. Gargoylekelly), these rare Death Metal materials will once again rise from the abyss and be dedicated to all maniacs who are passionate about old-school Death Metal!

SAPREMIA was established in 1990 as a 5-piece death metal band. Not long after, the singer left and they became a dual vocal attack, releasing two acclaimed demos. 1992's Subconscious Rot and 1994's Existence of Torture. In 1996, the band went on hiatus until 2006. Quickly upon returning to the scene, SAPREMIA was signed by Open Grave Records with two new members and releasedthe EP "Hollow" (2007) and the LP "With Winter Comes Despair" (2008). After years of touring the US and Canada, SAPREMIA found a new label home in Butchered Records, now as a three-piece, and released the LP "Autumn's Moon" (2013), new material is being worked on for a future release.
